Scouting Out: May 2021

What a difference a couple of months makes. Last time I wrote a scouting out post I had no clue of the global upheaval that lay ahead. Regardless, I am grateful that I have been well throughout this pandemic and able to isolate myself as much as possible. I hope you are keeping well too.

With that said, let’s do some catching up? Shall we?

Finding: the zeal to keep moving, despite the hardships brought by the pandemic. This is by intentionally staying active and ensuring growth, spiritually, mentally, physically and professionally.

Wishing: for a mini vacation. 👆🏾👆🏾👆🏾👆🏾

Cooking: spaghetti with ground beef.
Sipping: lot’s of water.

Reading: a letter to my daughter by Maya Angelo
Looking: Out the window. It’s such a lovely sunny day, despite all the COVID chaos.
Listening: to some classical piano music
Enjoying: spending time and catching up with my friends.
Liking: the idea of working on more projects.
Loving: Quiet days and writing on website. Oh and also getting kind emails and feedback from readers (Thank you so, so much!)
Buying: groceries
Watching: a couple of series on Netflix. Currently on my watch list is: The Crown, Ricky n Morty and the Bold type. 😅
Needing: to do a lot of tidying up and clearing out.
Wearing: something cozy and warm. leggings, a t-shirt and a jumper
Sorting: myself out!
Getting: ready for my CPA exams. Can’t wait to be done with them.
Craving: some kfc chicken and burger and chips and more fatty foods.
Bookmarking: almost every recipe I find on the internet.
Hoping: that you are well, and happy and keeping safe.
Feeling: Tired, like every other person on earth.

Marvelling: at the thought of knitting again.
