Home Style Up Stampin’

Stampin’

by Mademoiselle Rutere

photography by Ryan.

The day started off in a gloomy way. I was actually debating on whether I should really get out of the house given the aftermath of the rains…Muddy shoes, puddles to jump over, clothes not drying fast enough… and were it not for my friend and the fact that I really needed to take pictures, you can  rest assured that I would be snuggled under the covers with my favorite hot drink and a good show to dive into.

That being said, I really appreciated the three hour walk that I got to have with Ryan and Pesh at Karura. Being my first time there( I must admit is quite a shame having lived in Nairobi my whole life).  The ambiance, the fresh air, the sun rays falling in between the trees creating some beautiful shifting hues… and I can go on and on and on about the place.  Not to forget It is a pretty awesome place to do some bike riding too which I didn’t get to enjoy…there is always a next time.

For my look, I decided to go with something simple and cozy, up, bottom and feet. To rid off the plain view of my outfit I put on this lovely neck piece, which I was glad to have stumbled upon.

I hope you guys have an incredible week ahead.

As always happy reading and I do enjoy seeing your thoughts on the comment session.

I’ll make a point to go to Karura soon, I feel like this phrase (….its quite a shame having lived in Nairobi this long….) is personally directed to me haha; cz I’ve never been there at all. I know Karura through what I hear from people
